Hey,

I have an inspiring video for you! This brave girl from our non-profit surprised me with a “Thank you video” for you and all TCKs.

My friends loved it so I posted the video on my blog for you.

In this 2-min video you’ll see how a brave “Overweight” Asian TCK comes out of her comfort zone and shares her heart to you.

It’s really touching…my friends said we should share it to everyone.

Enjoy!

Brice

Your not fat at all. You are beautiful and courageous and inspiring to other people. :) I believe god makes all of in beautiful in our different shapes and sizes, you are unique and beautiful, and when you learn to accept yourself as you are other people will too.

hey! you're not fat! asian girls are just anorexic! :) just kidding! i have way too many asian friends who can eat endlessly and not gain weight but i'm not one of them.. everytime i'm back in asia, i feel overweight (i wear L or XL in asian sizes) but back in canada, i'm an S. :/ I just tell myself that i know i'm healthier than one of those sticks walking down the street and feel all better about it.
Thank you for sharing your story! i'm so glad i'm not the only one feeling overweight in asia. (it certainly doesn't help when schoolmates and relatives always comment on my size but i'm beginning to see it as a cultural thing)
  • this is so sweet. I hope you stay strong and ebrace your inner (and outer) beauty.

we are all so powerful, we just need to connect with ourselves.. part of this journey is getting to know ourselves and who we are.. but this, I believe is one of the meanings of life.. the search for who we are is never ending as we evolve and grow.

it's so exciting to see you growing .

    lots of love and light!
